Resources in the Language Lab

Online Resources

Online Materials Example
Like a paper copy, an online worksheet can contain any visual stimuli or activity that you require:  instructions, text, pictures, question and answer formats.  Unlike a conventional worksheet, audio/video recordings and flash animation stimuli can also be included.  Moreover, multiple choice, short answer, fill-in-the-gap and picture labelling exercises are marked automatically.  Each activity has a flexible set of options for assessment.  Results are entered and stored in the teacher's secure electronic markbook.    With the online worksheets, the student is able to practise speaking and listening in addition to reading and writing skills.  Learn more about assessment with the Language Lab.

Create Your Own Resources

Resource Designer

The easy to use 'resource designer' function allows the teacher to create his own online worksheets.  Materials acquired from other sources can also be tailored to suit requirements.   Any text, audio or visual stimuli and any activity or answer format can be used.  The teacher's work is stored and filed under 'My Resources', a personal repository with a search and filter option.  A worksheet can be set again (or modified) for an individual student or a different group.  Your materials can also be shared with other teachers using the Resources Library, if you so wish.
