Work to set for school closures during the snow

Once again, it's that time of year when the elements seem to conspire against language teachers in the northern hemisphere. If I had to choose the school subjects which benefit most from consistent, regular practice, it would have to be MFL subjects such as French. We have noticed that a lot of teachers have been setting 'snow day' work from french-resources.org to make sure their pupils have opportunities for regular language practice when they are not in school and have plenty of time on their hands. Here is an example weather related listening exercise.
